At times entertaining and witty, but in general no more than average mystery with exotic locales and romantic overtones.

Synopsis: This is the inabridged recording of Street of the Five Moons. Vicky Bliss, a very attractive blonde art historian working at a prestigious German museum, is intrigued by the mystery of a man, dead of apparently natural causes, carrying a superb replica of the museum's most valuable artifact.
Spurred by her superior's indefatigable imagination, and her own curiosity, Vicky decides to investigate. Traveling to Rome, Vicky finds mysterious antique shops, snooty aristocrats, as well as unexpected attraction and deadly danger.
Full Review: While at times quite entertaining, the plot, in general, is quite weak and is full of improbable coincidences. At times, it appears that everyone in Italy is connected to a plot. The style of the narrator, Vicky, is droll, and occasionally rather witty. However, this is marred by a very conventional interplay between the assertive, but occasionally naive Vicky and a shady romantic interest.
While pleasant for superficial entertainment, as in a car commute, this novel provides only a modicum of enjoyment.
