Full Review: This is an unabridged recording of Mrs. Pollifax on Safari.

The book is a humorous spy novel, although not without dangers. There is some attempt to present the complexity of political struggles in the South of Africa, but most of the effort is spent on the unlikely but highly enjoyable adventures of Emily Pollifax, as she confronts several sets enemies, an old friend, and a new admirer,

The narrator is excellent at conveying different accents: one can distinguish the characters in dialogues from the first syllable.

As in its predecessor, the book is a light, somewhat shallow entertainment with warm and frequently amusing interactions between the colorful characters.

Overall: 5.5; Plot: 5.5; Characters: 5.5; Style: 5.5; World-building: 5.5; Originality: 6;
